Appearance & First Thoughts

Similar in style to a “bum bag” or flats pack worn by saltwater flyfishermen, this Pine Hollow Pack from USA based Clear Creek can be worn as a shoulder or waist bag. It is however, easier to access its contents when worn around the waist though. The front of the pack features a zip open pocket that holds a ripple foam fly patch which is included.
This front pocket is covered and protected by the pack top which can be folded forward and securely buckled. Either side of this central front pocket is a mesh bottle holder .

Performance & Opinion

The inner of the main compartment is very well padded and will hold several flyboxes or a camera etc. Inside the lid is a zippered mesh pocket ideal for small items like keys, money etc
There are D rings on either side to hold on the supplied clip on padded shoulder strap. The whole shell is made from a tough Cordura like material to withstand the knocks and bumps inevitable when stalking fish along a rocky or vegetation strewn river bank.
