Eastern Sierra - It's a small world after all..."Moments later, we heard cursing, yelling and screaming upstream from us. We rushed up to find out what the commotion was and found five guys in the water still yelling. All held rods, one had a camera and another held a large brown trout in a net which he held in a net." Here in his own words is the story behind that "commotion".by Greg WoldIt took me about 100 casts, 10 fly changes & 3 times getting snapped off because of the over brush. Finally, I got the drift I was looking for right under the brush over hang. I had a large elk hair with hopper leg stimi on and fooled the fish of my life (so far). As soon as I hooked it I knew it was huge. I started screaming at my brother to start shooting the video of the whole ordeal. It dragged me about sixty yards down river before my best friend Mike Galieote caught up to me to give me a hand netting it. This huge hook-jaw brown took me another sixty yards before he started to tire out and we finally netted him. Due to my brother Jeff's great video skills we got the footage and the pictures of a lifetime. The best part of the story is I successfully released this enormous brown so someone else could have the experience that I did. Gregs 26.5" fish
