FOOT & MOUTH UPDATE

All rivers open

Happily it seems that we are through the worst of the Foot & Mouth crisis, though everybody still has fingers crossed. Fortunately, none of our rivers have been affected & we continue to fish as normal.

I couldn't resist this photo of the Wallop Brook downstream of Nine Mile Water. The local farmer runs a herd of Water Buffalo & they took the river during the heat of last weekend. Hook up one of those & you'll need a bit more than 7x tippet!

Below is the full list of all the beats for the rest of August, including the Bank Holiday weekend. Plenty of choice nearly every day & we have opened up the River Alre at Western Court for a single Rod as it is in such fabulous condition.
