New Fish & Fly contributor Jeremy LucasWe are very pleased to announce that England international team member Jeremy Lucas has joined the team of expert contributors at Fish & Fly.

Jeremy will be penning a regular series of articles titled "Fishing on the Frontier" which will look in depth at presentation methods used on the continent and how they can and are being applied to the fishing at home in the UK.

Jeremy Lucas is a teacher, writer and professional fly fishing guide (APGAI), particularly in Cumbria and the San River, Poland. He is a long-term member of England teams, having fished in numerous World and European Championships, as well as Home loch-style and rivers internationals.

He is one of only three anglers ever to have won the top individual awards in both loch-style and rivers internationals. He has also won gold, silver and bronze team medals in World and European Championships, and an individual bronze medal in World Championships.

His books, which included The Last Salmon, published in 1990, have been translated into numerous languages. He is currently completing a book about the forty years of his fly-fishing career. He specialises in wild trout and grayling, with a love of watercraft and presentation, which allow the angler to make the most of a particular reach of water.

Jeremy splits his time between guiding on the Eden up in Cumbria through Wilderness Flyfishing and on the San River in Poland with Pioneer Flyfishing.
