was founded in 2002 by Arkadi de Rakoff, an experienced, well traveled fly angler and a regular photo journalist, contributing to UK fly fishing magazines. In a former life as a film producer, Arkadi gathered a wealth of experience in creating complex location trips. It’s this expertise, along with his passion for fly fishing travel, that are the key components of the company’s organisational success.
was originated to offer packages for UK anglers to the (largely unknown) rivers of France. The take up rate was swift and it soon became evident from increasing inquiries that accessible European fly fishing destinations in general were much in demand for UK anglers as an alternative to long haul (expensive) destinations. And French anglers were showing increasing interest in visiting the UK.
In response, has now formed a unique network of personal associations with top European guides, riparian owners and local fishing associations and offers a range of European packages. In recognition of its innovative and highly regarded professional approach, has formed a number of exclusive partnerships with European and UK tourist boards, and riparian owners.
