This year's WTT on-line auction with 234 lots is more packed with alluring opportunities than ever before, all generously donated by the Trust's many supporters.

Fishing lots include a total of 244 days fishing and five full season tickets on a stunningly wide range of waters. Some of the choicest lots offer not only a rod on exclusive beats but include guidance and occasionally tuition by some of the biggest names in fishing. In dedicated lots, top instructors also volunteer tuition for everyone from beginners to veterans wanting to hone their skills.

There is also a plethora of beautiful rods, reels, wicker creels and craftsmen-made flies, including one tied by a judge. The art and literature section is packed with desirable items, rare editions, sculptures and paintings, often signed by the writers and artists.

Roebuck, Muntjac, partridge, pheasant, duck and pigeon are all within the sights of the shooting lots.

And as usual there are the unusual miscellaneous items including this year a ploughing lesson, a Honda race shirt signed by Jenson Button and Ross Brawn, rugby tickets and an exclusive family trip behind the scenes at the Natural History Museum.

This is an on-line auction in which anyone can bid, with guide prices starting as low as £15.

There are in excess of 15,000 miles of river in the UK. In its first decade of promoting habitat restoration, the WTT has made a small but significant impact, but there are years more projects to be undertaken. The 2007 auction raised over £42,000 for this essential work and we very much hope this year, that record result will be exceeded.

Among the lots are:
* A day's trouting for 6 rods on the Oakley, Main and Rectory beats of the Test with luncheon
* A day each on the Test and Itchen with Charles Jardine, inc lunch by Charles and overnight lodgings.
* A framed Claret Bumble tied by the late Justice T.C. Kingsmill Moore, writer of "A Man May Fish"
* Six of his very own killer flies tied by WTT president and celebrated author Brian Clarke
* A day's salmon fishing for 1 rod with Ian Gordon on the River Spey.
* A Hardy Marksman rod, reel and line of choice
*A signed copy of the second (1971) edition of John Goddard's seminal Trout Fly Recognition

The auction opens on March 31 with final bids to be submitted by April 9.
