A research paper by Dr Stefan Kraan, scientific director and MD of Ocean Harvest Technology, Ireland, suggests that the inclusion of a natural and sustainable resource into feed may not only help with the reduction of sea lice pressure in farmed salmon but might also improve human health by increasing the amount of omega 3 fatty acids in the fish.
