New member on the forum and first season learning to fish. I love it and wish I had started years ago. Enjoying fishing for trout on the middle section of the Tweed.
I havent met any other women out fishing yet, but no doubt they are out there somewhere...?
Catching a lot of tiddly wee trout and the occasional salmon parr- all about 4"-7" and carefully putting them back.
Feels like Im having a mini heart-attack every time I catch a tiddler, so should be interesting if i ever do hook anything big!
Gutted that we are not allowed to fish on a sunday, and that the trout season is now nearing the end. Can't afford to fish salmon, so october to march will seem like a long time with no fishing. Practicing knots for six months only has a limited appeal ; )
