The Eighth NASF Norwegian Auction in Support of Wild Salmon in Norway

Since 1989 the North Atlantic Salmon Fund (NASF) has brokered and helped pay-for the historic agreements with commercial netsmen that have greatly reduced the netting of adult salmon at sea. Without these agreements our salmon runs would be a fraction of what they are today. Nevertheless the netsmen are being paid NOT to fish on an continual basis – therefore this fund raising cannot cease. To help raise funds every year, the Norwegian branch of NASF and their supporters host an annual auction in Oslo of some fantastic fishing.

The generous donations from the supporting fisheries and others are truly superb.

Here is the auction catalogue. Wow!

Fishers from around the world can bid – and winners will enjoy the trip of a lifetime and help save salmon in the process.

Happy bidding (or at least dreaming!)
