Norway's Atlantic salmon catches by rod and line 2009
The figures show that salmon catches in Norway have declined by 40% over the ten year period 2000 to 2009.
There are some alarming declines in salmon catches such as Vikedal river which shows a 92% drop in catches over the period. Notable successes however include the Beiar River which is bouncing back after GS infection.
