Yes, it's an April Fools day post, but the "quote" attributed to the phony Sage spokesman is still largely accurate. There really are a lot people who have access to small local waters that are home to small local fish. And it is also true that most people don't fish for them because their rods are all overkill.

With a rod actually designed for smaller fish - something a 3 or 4 inch sunnie can put a bend in, catching smaller fish can be fun. And such rods to in fact exist - they're just not from Sage.
