The Salmon Atlas welcomes you to a growing source of information about the delights of fishing for salmon, steelhead and sea trout.

We have organised this forum into three major sections: Technique, tackle and destination. (How, what-with and where). As you would expect in an Atlas - 'place' is very important with over 1,200 rivers and lakes featured. Forums however are also about 'people' and what they have to say. Members here are part of the worldwide Fish&Fly community of nearly 100,000 like-minded people who make up one of the biggest online fishing communities in the world. It's free to join so there is no excuse! Nevertheless, many people do just visit and enjoy what this community says but don’t take part. In 2009 the Fish&Fly websites welcomed over 2 million guests.

We do urge you to register and then introduce yourself in the members-only Newbie forum, but whether you join or simply visit you are really most welcome!

PS. New registrants have immediate membership and logins to the following Fish&Fly websites:,,,,,, and soon to be launched our new Where To Fish series of websites.
