Loch Fishing
You don't mention what set up you have for your leader. I use a leader of about 8/9 feet with a dropper about 4 feet from the tail. Muddler on the dropper and whatever fly works best on the tail. Can I suggest you get yourself some "Spiny Normans" from Island Flies 09. and put them on your dropper Tied on a size 6 hook and described as a seatrout wake fly, they have worked on salmon when standard muddlers did nothing. They also do other interesting flies for loch salmon and seatrout. Check them out.
