Huge 335Kg Bluefin Tuna May Be Record-Breaker

NEW Zealand fisherman Nathan Adams is angling for a world record after hauling in a massive 335kg bluefin tuna. The catch was made from a tiny six-metre boat while fishing off the coast of the country's North Island. And now he is waiting to hear whether the huge creature is the largest ever caught on rod and line. See the video below...

Overjoyed Nathan said: "When I first started fishing my dream was to catch a giant bluefin exactly like this."

He went on to reveal his plan to have a cast of the snapper mounted on his living room wall.

But wife Lisa isn't quite so enthusiastic about the oversized trophy.

Nathan explained: "Lisa's not too keen on that, because she reckons it's like mounting a sofa or something like that.

"But I've got nowhere else to put it."
