“I just landed this morning a 109 cm Salmon from the Sela river in Iceland, very heavy and thick fish , a true monster , definately over 30 pounds. This is the record fish ever taken on the Sela river , it was taken on the pool Skipahylur , fly black hitch tube , hook number 14 , tippet 12 pounds and 7 weight LOOP evotec single handed 9.6 foot, light tackle and it took me 1 and half hour to battle the fish , very fine leader and small hook, justa fetr landing this one I landed three more from Skipahylur .. but a bit smaller 🙂 , what a day !
