The past week has been a great week with flat calm seas, spectacular sunsets and a vast variety of species to catch with nine triggerfish, five GT’s, a barracuda, three milkfish, a bucket load of bonefish and other species too.
Justin McCarty stayed on for his second week on Alphonse and finished his stay with an ‘Alphonse Flats Slam’ comprising of a GT, trigger and bonefish. The biggest GT’s of the week were Justin’s 120cm beast and a 97 cm beauty landed by Gregory; great fishing and a great bunch of guests who move on to fish with us at Cosmoledo next week.
We look forward to the weeks to come as the milkfish continue to feed with the manta rays now showing on the western side of the atoll.
