In early May on the Island of Rügen, the largest Atlantic salmon ever caught in Germany with rod and reel was landed. Dieter Schmidt of Wolfsburg lured the 125cm giant with a Rhino Xtra Mag Spoon in the color pattern "Rügen Special“. When weighed the specimen turned out to be an enormous 24.3 kg (53.5lb). Read More
