Scotland retreat
Casting for Recovery UK & Ireland, the unique fly fishing therapy programme for ladies with breast cancer, is delighted to be returning to Forbes of Kingennie, the resort at Broughty Ferry near Dundee, and is now accepting registrations online. The retreat will be held from 22-24 September and will feature counselling and medical advice as part of a packed programme which will also see ladies try their hand at fly fishing. The retreat is free to attend and any lady who has (or has had) breast cancer is welcome to register. Our thanks to the Scottish Rural Awards whose generous donation of more than £5,000 will underwrite this year’s Kingennie retreat.

Meanwhile, the programme’s retreat to be held in Hampshire at Kimbridge on the River Test from 21-23 July is still open to registrations also.
