St Brandon's Early Season Feedback.

Now for those of you who have not yet had the fortune of fishing the expansive flats this Indian Ocean atoll has at her disposal, St Brandon’s has over the past few years caused quite a stir in the saltwater flats fishing market. And why wouldn’t it have if one considers the absurd numbers of large and naive bonefish which inhabit this shallow water system. Add good numbers of tailing Indo-Pacific permit, some truly enormous Giant trevally, along with a variety of other colourful trevally species into the mix and you really come up with a truly epic flats fishing experience!

The MY Gryphon

A large portion of the trips to St Brandon’s revolve around the MY Gryphon, a 100ft liveaboard mothership which is quite simply the most comfortable and spacious vessel we have had the privilege to work from. With stabilizers, spacious ensuite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge, she is the ideal platform from which to access the myriad of hard sand and marl flats which make St Brandon’s such a pleasure to wade. Having just returned from the first trip of the season, I must admit I have never seen her in such fine shape as she is at present. All her mechanics are running smoothly and with the introduction of two new chefs the meals are certainly nothing to be sneezed at.
