With this new option of fishing, we are expanding the range of offers, for those fishermen who wish to combine excellent land based accommodation (Casona de Romano), on an amazing location to fish for permit ( quite possibly the best in the world alongside with Cayo Largo) and bonefish, among other attractive species.
In this destination, we will provide weekly packages, including 7 nights accommodation with full board regime, and 6 days fishing, plus transfers from your accommodation to the fishing and back. Beyond the weekly fishing package, our guests will have the possibility of reaching through the Havana airport or Cayo Coco also (at their convenience) so that accommodation on arrival night and prior to departure, are not included on the fishing programs, althought is perfectly possible to add it as per guests request, same for the ground transfers from your arrival accommodation to the city of Brazil (and back), where the Casona de Romano is located.
Among the initiatives to be made in this new fishing destination, there is an intensive improvement for fishing guides currently operating in this area, from English to basic guiding skills to ensure guest satisfaction; skiffs will be also a priority as well as accommodation and general services. Everything will be upgraded to our Avalon’s standards.
